For the first few weeks of unit X I feel that as a group we have
been working quite successfully. Although not all of our ideas are the same we
have been working well trying to come up with ways to combine our ideas
together and come to a compromise. We came up with the concept for our project
as ‘Spending a day at the fairground’ through this idea we were able to include
everyone’s ideas. Starting the day looking at the movement of the rides and how
they make you feel then as the day progressed the sideshows and darker side of
the fun fair with fortunetellers and tarot readers. Finally looking at the
theme park when it is closed and empty and all the rides are abandoned and the
circus freaks come out. From this we started gathering our own initial research
looking at our own different themes. From our initial research we started
designing and developing motifs.
